OEM parts often times are designed for efficiency of manufacturing, cutting costs and driver comfort. Unfortunately performance is often not a priority – as seen on the very restrictive factory Boss Dual Cat Back setup on the 5.0L Mustang motor.
LTH has developed a high-performance cat back exhaust system for the 5.0L motor found in the Ford Mustang.
Designed using the latest in CCM and CAD technology the cat back is a masterpiece. The end goal of aggressive sound along with drone-free cruising has been achieved with the LTH cat back.

The Boss Mustang sounds incredible, even in stock form. The only problem is that noise is way too quiet. LTH uncorks the Gen 1 Coyote and lets this incredible motor sing the way that it should from the factory. With a simple cat back exhaust, your Mustang can go from bland to unreal in an afternoon. For many Mustang owners, a cat back exhaust is the first modification. This is for good reason, as the Coyote Gen 1 sounds amazing. Additionally, your Mustang can pick up some more horsepower in the process.
While a cat back is mostly done for sound, it can make some real power when combined with the right pieces. LTH designs exhaust systems to be as modular as possible. What this means is you can buy a cat back now and down the line add in LTH headers. Combined with headers, this cat back will really sing. The Coyote Gen 1 engine makes the right noise when you give it a chance. Uncork your Mustang’s exhaust today!
